PRESERVES

TLT currently owns and/or leases various sites in Trumbull. We are always looking for environmentally significant lands to preserve as open space, for the generations to come.
 
Kenneth S. Halaby Nature Preserve 27 acres of wetland located in the eastern part of Trumbull. This large donation was given to us by BHC Company and the Town of Trumbull.
Woodcrest 1.6 acres of upland and wetland located on a corner lot - Woodcrest Avenue and Huntington Road - Heavily treed
Randall Nature Preserve 8 acres of wetland located off Meadowview Road - Randall Nature Preserve is a very healthy wetland located in the watershed area of Great Oak Park and Canoe Brook Lake
Randall Nature Preserve II .6 acres of wetland located west of the Randall Nature Preserve. This small wetland pocket is part of the Great Oak and Canoe Brook Lake watershed
Friar Lane 3.5 acres of upland and wetland on the Shelton border. This lot is located on Friar Lane
Rails to Trails 2.5 acres leased off Route 111 - This leased area will be part of the Pequonnock Greenway ( a hiking trail on the old Housatonic Railbed)
